Dr. Michael Yu, OD
Dr. Michael Yu is a Calgary optometrist with more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care. He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010 and has practised in both British Columbia and Alberta, with experience spanning comprehensive eye exams, medical eye care, dry eye treatment, contact lenses, and surgical co-management.
Dr. Yu founded Primaris Vision to create an independent, doctor-owned clinic centred on personalized, long-term eye care.
His approach is simple: take the time to listen, explain what he sees, and provide recommendations that make sense for each patient's eyes, health, and lifestyle.
